Phillip H. Vance, 70, of Indianapolis fell asleep in death on April 29, 2018. He was born on January 21, 1948 to Paul H. Vance and Gladys Ilean (Jackson) Vance-Powell in Marion, Indiana. Phillip was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses the summer of 1966. He was a hard-working and dedicated father to his two sons. His working life spanned 50 years retiring June 20, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Linda (Taylor); his sons Corey (Lydia) and I. Matthew (Tasha); grandchildren Paulette and Gayle; sister Tonya (John) Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 6 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road with visitation prior to the service beginning at 5 pm.
